Hard Anodizing
Hard Anodizing, also known as Type III Anodizing, is processed similar to Type II Anodize. The main difference between the two is the thickness provided with Hard Anodizing, with ranges between .0005”-.003”. The coating is durable and aids in resisting corrosion and abrasion damage. Hard Anodizing is commonly used for military devices and electrical equipment.
